About
Hello! I’m Slavi Stoev, and I’m a game engineer — I program and occasionally design video games and tools. Here you can explore some of the projects. They range from video games to tools (to help make those games) to other interesting tidbits.
At the moment, I’m studying Game Engineering (nowadays Creative Media and Game Technologies) at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, and I expect to graduate in 2021. I’m also currently looking for a graduation opportunity to further my programming and game development skills.

Skills & Professional Interests
Gameplay Programming
Multiple game projects conducted over the last 3 years, where I’ve been a part of concept, prototyping, implementing and testing gameplay features, such as movement, controls and camera or interaction and interactable objects.
Multiplayer Networking
Familiarized myself with the Mirror Networking API for Unity. However, the Unity networking landscape is like the Wild West right now.
Computer Graphics
Several recent endeavours of mine have not panned out due to me underestimating this interest and getting swept up in the physics and GPGPU world as well. Nonetheless, an avenue I would love to explore further.
Tool Development
Created makeshift tools in Unity for the projects in my care to better the team’s workflow. Interested in developing this further by exploring other GUI frameworks, such as Qt.
Agile Methodologies
Worked with Scrum in many of my projects to enable better communication and task distribution; admittedly, not often under the best of conditions but I have made due working under a schedule or the duress of chaos.
